For 35 years, Piedmont Wind Symphony has been a vital cultural institution in Winston-Salem and Forsyth County, pushing the boundaries of classical music and creating unforgettable performances that resonate with audiences of all backgrounds. As one of the few professional wind symphonies in the country, Piedmont Wind Symphony is dedicated to innovating and evolving wind ensemble music to keep it relevant and impactful within the classical genre.
"Together for 35" is more than just a fundraising initiative—it’s a call to action for our community, asking for 350 voices to join one symphony. The campaign symbolizes the collective strength we gain when we come together, much like the individual voices of musicians in the symphony who contribute to a harmonious and powerful performance. Each donation is a voice that bands the symphony together, helping to shape the future of this organization and ensuring that its rich history continues for years to come.
