Michael Robinson

Michael B. Robinson, a native of Clover, South Carolina, is an active music educator, composer, and tubist. Mike attended UNC Greensboro, where he earned Masters and Bachelors degrees in Music Education and studied tuba with Dr. Dennis AsKew. Mike has recorded under the Equilibrium label on the UNCG Wind Ensemble CD Fireworks! (available on Amazon and iTunes) and with the UNCG Jazz Ensemble on Bouncin' with Blue Note at 75. As a tubist, Mike often performs with the North Carolina Brass Band, Piedmont Wind Symphony, and the Basses Covered Brass Band. Mike has also performed with the Western Piedmont Symphony, Fayetteville Symphony, and Giannini Brass. 

Mike is a prolific composer and arranger for young, collegiate, and professional ensembles. Mike has completed several arrangements for the North Carolina Brass Band, including "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" for soloist Lindsay Kesselman and the band.
