Matthew Covington is English horn/2nd oboe of the Piedmont Wind Symphony. He is principal oboe in the Philharmonia of Greensboro, plays in the Greensboro Symphony, Carolina Philharmonic, and frequently performs with the Salisbury and Fayetteville Symphonies. When not making reeds or practicing, Matthew works for his family's jewelry store in King, North Carolina. He lives in Greensboro with his dog, cat, and husband.
