CONDUCT! Presented by Piedmont Wind Symphony and University of North Carolina School of the Arts is for those who seek to hone their conducting and analytical skills while working with the professional members of the Piedmont Wind Symphony. Sessions will include those on movement, rehearsal techniques, score preparation, aural imagery, repertoire, curriculum, and pedagogy.

Three 15-minute sessions with the professional musicians of Piedmont Wind Symphony.

Attend a pre-workshop Score Study Workshop via Zoom on the selected workshop repertoire with Dr. Geraldi and Dr. Norman. (Date to be announced)

Participate in sessions and discussions on repertoire, movement, and aural imagery

Attend a concert and open rehearsal with Piedmont Wind Symphony

Attend selected sessions as part of the ASBDA Eastern Regional Conference

Participant Fee: $375.00 for those selected (due by June 1, 2025)

Deadline: Consideration of applications will remain open until all eight positions are full.
It is strongly encouraged that applications be completed as soon as possible.
